Front & Rear Projection Technology

Centrepoint AV Limited supply and install both front and rear projection equipment for use at events, exhibitions, presentations, displays. We also install and fit interactive wall and floor systems.

Front projection: -Refers to the means and positioning of the projector. This means, the projector is situated in front of the screen and relies on a highly, reflective screen for a good and true reflective image.

Rear projection: -Simply means that the projector is placed behind the screen, firing straight forward towards the audience. The screen technology actually controls and diffuses the light path and distributes bright, sharp images into a predefined viewing zone. The technique of rear projection is typically deployed in the events and exhibition industry, or indeed where the projected light path from a projector could be interrupted and thereby interfere with the projected image.

Rear projected technology can also be used in shop windows, and by utilising a special foil, fixed permanently to the window, a powerful projector can display a diffused, even image, without hot-spots, onto the glass window. This method of "windows out" image projection is common and can be combined with a touch foil interface to give menu driven, touch through glass control.
